Description
This course is an overview of distilled beverages known as liquor or spirits. You will learn the history of distillation; the steps in the distillation process; the differences between pot stills and continuous stills; post-distillation options and the benefit of each method; production methods for the major categories of liquor; some of the world's leading brands within each liquor category; basic techniques for serving liquor; and common mixers with examples of popular cocktails.
